It is little known that Jaeger-LeCoultre, in addition to producing movements for its own watches, has also produced movements for a number of famous watch houses, such as Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, and IWC. In the early part of the 20th Century, Jaeger-LeCoultre even supplied bare movements to the great firm of Patek Philippe. Then as now, Jaeger-LeCoultre was considered one of the finest watchmakers in Switzerland

Winding Mechanism: The watch carries its all original very high quality Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre K885 17 jewel manual wind movement which, as can be seen, is in spectacular condition. Jaeger-LeCoultre movements are among the very best and quite rightly held in very high regard among both collectors and watchmakers. It is in beautiful condition. It is also running strong and accurate within +/- 10 seconds per day which is well within expected parameters. The watch has a runtime of over 40 hours from its fully wound state ~ service history unknown
Crystal: Acrylic crystal has some very fine surface scratches difficult to see with the naked eye that can be buffed out
Bezel: Because the bezel does not cover much of the dial, and the dial is uncluttered with script, the watch plays larger on the wrist than 33mm
Box/Papers: No original box or papers
Overall Condition: mint condition ~ signed clean white dial ~ signed manual wind movement runs strong and accurate ~ crown winds and sets smoothly ~ acrylic crystal has some very fine surface scratches that can be buffed out ~ no damage ~ all of our watches have been tested and serviced if needed ~ stunning ~ it is a very honest piece
